woensdag

Let me take you on a trip to Spain.

I have so much good memories of our trip to Spain. We stayed for 2 months at my sisters place in the area of Torrevieja.  While staying there we made a trip for 5 days with my sister and her husband. Last year we made a trip to the Sierra Nevada and this year we choose for some historic cities.

After Granada and Cordoba we visit  Sevilla.  Let me tell you something about Sevilla  wich started years back on our trip to San Francisco in the USA. When i visit that city i imediately felt in love with that city it was so relaxed and had that special atmosphere that i love.  In Sevilla i had the same feeling a  world city too but with such an historic district and small streets with with terraces and typical spanisch tapas bars. But also the arabic influences.  We visit the Alcazar palace during our stay and felt Columbus around us.

Always have to knowwhat is upstairs,  at the end of the hall and behind the fences..

After visiting Sevilla we visit Rond. An old little village in a beautiful green area.

For Spain we had a cold day at Ronda with lots of wind.

We went further to the coast line and stayed in a wonderful hotel with a magnificent view over see. In the morning when we wakeup this was the view out of my bed.

Wasn't bad after all our long walks in the cities.  And our dog was very happy with the beaches.

Hope you like your visit to Spain. We did.

Love
Yvonne

dinsdag

after a long time

hello all my dear blogger friends i have been away for a long time. But it was a well spend time for us.  We left the cold and wet winter in the Netherlands for a 2 moth stay in Spain with lots of sunny weather and good temperatures.

I'm home for two weeks now and the first thing i had to do was making a fabric album. Love those small albums. Beside that i will give you a impression of how beautiful Spain is away from the beaches.  I love the country it has so much different landscapes and historic places.

Granade with the Alhambra and his beautiful small streets. It has so much Arabic influences wich you find back in the qasbah streets with his colourful carpets and arabic things to buy and ofcourse the smell of incense.

And further to Cordoba the city i laying in the biggest olive area i ever see.
Cordoba is a vey old city with an very old juwish district and a magnificent old church wich is build covering an old mosque.  Inside the church you see the influences of the mosque.  Really breath taking.

Corboba is so pretty here our hotel, our dog watching outside our room and the old jewish district.

Next time some pictures of  Sevilla, Ronda and a beautiful unknown coastline of Spain.

Have all a nice day.
